Flying High Energy Bars

These are my all time favourite Energy Bars. 

Very easy to make, store, transport and change according to your mood.

 

Overview:

Preparation time: 10 mins

Baking time: 20 mins

Oven: 180°C/160°C fan/ Gas mark 4

Non-stick tray with greaseproof paper

 

Ingredients:

350 g oats

3 bananas, mashed

3-5 tbsp agave nectar

4 tbsp coconut oil, melted

30g sunflower seeds or nuts of your choice

30g dried figs or cranberries

30g dried dates or raisins 

2 tsp cinnamon

 

Method:

In a large bowl, stir together all the ingredients until everything is well combined.

Pour the mixture into the tray and pat down with the back of a spoon until smooth.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until  golden brown.

Let it cool completely before cutting into bite size pieces.

Store in a airtight container to take on your travels.
